Open Repositories 2015 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis hotel, located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

Hyatt Regency Indianapolis

The hotel is walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Recently remodeled, the guestrooms at Hyatt Regency Indianapolis offer a contemporary residential feel with sophisticated décor.

To make your hotel reservation, please contact the hotel directly online or by telephone. If you are telephoning, please call +1 888.421.1442 and indicate that you are with the Open Repositories Conference to receive the group rate.

We have negotiated a special room rate at the Hyatt for conference attendees:

  • $159 per night plus tax* (single or double occupancy)
  • $179 per night plus tax* (triple occupancy)
  • $199 per night plus tax* (quadruple occupancy)

The deadline to make reservations at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis is midnight EDT, Saturday, May 16, 2015. Reservations made after this date will be served on a space available basis.

*Current taxes are 10% occupancy tax, 7% state sales tax. Note: Rooms include complimentary standard internet for one device per guestroom. You may upgrade for $5/day for premium internet and additional devices.

Travel

For those arriving by air, the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is a 15 minute drive from downtown and is served by most major US airlines.

Options for ground transportation between the airport and the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis include:

  • Shuttle bus: GO Green Shuttle, one-way fare $10. Get off at stop #8 (Embassy Suites); Hyatt is across the street
  • Public bus: IndyGo route 8, one-way fare $1.75. Get off on Ohio St. between Senate and Capitol Sts.; walk two blocks south on Capitol St. to Hyatt. NOTE: When boarding bus for return trip to airport, make sure to take a route 8 bus with Airport, not Indianapolis Zoo, marked as the destination.
  • Taxi
  • Rental car

Megabus and Greyhound terminals are located downtown. Indianapolis is also served by Amtrak with rail connections from Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C.

Downtown Indy is easily walkable, and bicycle rentals are available in White River State Park and at Indiana Pacers Bikeshare locations along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.

Visa Requirements

Travelers coming from countries outside the United States should check visa requirements for their country of citizenship with the Bureau of Consular Affairs/U.S. Department of State at http://usvisas.state.gov/

If you require a letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa, please contact the Conference Organizers with the following information: Legal (given) name, legal home address, place/date of birth, source of funding, and name/email of contact at US embassy (if available). Letters of invitation may only be provided once a participant has registered and paid in full.
